The Brief

A relaxed, Italian-inspired celebration among the vines.

Set against the vineyards of Barrett Lane in autumn, Jillian and Ka Hoe’s celebration brought together the warmth and character of an Italian-inspired gathering with the natural beauty of the Swan Valley.

Deep reds, muted greens and soft neutrals set the palette, with orchids and abundant florals adding an organic softness throughout the day. Their stationery was designed to feel at home within this setting — playful and personal, with hand-drawn details, flowing typography and a relaxed sense of romance carried across each piece.

The Design

Hand-drawn illustration, flowing script and a warm palette of soft ivory, deep red and muted green came together to create a suite that felt relaxed, personal and at home within the vineyard setting.

Illustrated details were carried across the menus and drinks stationery, giving each piece its own character while creating a consistent visual thread throughout the celebration. Personalised name cards added another layer of colour and individuality to each place setting.

For the welcome sign, a custom illustration of Barrett Lane captured the vineyard and fountain overlooking the grounds — creating a more personal connection to the setting and welcoming guests with a piece designed especially for the place in which Jillian and Ka Hoe were celebrating.
